Regulator in mahogany case glazed on three sides in a strict form with profiled cornice and base zone. The enamel dial with fire-gilded bronze ring and Roman numerals, signed "LePaute & Fils - Horloger du Roi". The movement is signed "LePaute et fils - à Paris 2281 + 6(?)/12". The company "LePaute et Fils" was founded in 1811 from the famous watchmaker family LePaute, father Pierre-Basile LePaute (1750-1843) and son Pierre Michel.
