Biedermeier Bookcase, Saxony around 1820

Two-door bookcase on low square feet with doors in 4/5 glazing and stepped cornice. The plinth and cornice are optically structured by ebonised profiles and harmoniously united by the vertical ebonised strip. The corpus is veneered in cherry wood and decorated with fine thread inlays. The cabinet has been expertly restored and hand polished.
